Part 5310 Program Aids Mobility with Greater than $580,000 in Funding
By the Part 5310 program, INCOG has awarded $580,565 in grants to 10 entities within the Tulsa area. This federally funded program seeks to enhance mobility for seniors and people with disabilities by eradicating boundaries to transportation providers and increasing transportation mobility choices. INCOG is the designated recipient of Part 5310 funding for the Tulsa area. Native governments and nonprofit companies are eligible to use for the funds.
Receiving funds are: Ki Bois Space Transit, Cimarron Transportation, A New Leaf, Morton Well being Companies, Life Senior Companies, Youth Companies of Tulsa, Rogers County Grownup Day Heart, Tulsa Transit, Blessings to Share Basis, and Gatesway Basis.
Since 2013, INCOG has granted $4M in federal funds for each conventional capital wants similar to buy of automobiles and non-traditional wants similar to working bills and transit services enhancements. All through the years, 45 automobiles have been bought to serve Tulsa and surrounding areas.
